The other night I had a dream about teleportation... this technology fell somewhere between the (somewhat) perfected transporters of 'Star Trek' and Brundle's disastrous telepod experiment in 'The Fly'.
In my
dream, you could transport two organic life forms simultaneously but
those organisms couldn't be touching one another... or they ran the risk
of their skin being grafted together at the point of contact, after
re-materialization. It seemed as if the computer program had trouble
distinguishing between outer skin layers, on such an intimate level.
Of course, that would also run the risk of grafting your armpits
closed, unless you kept your arms out... or other horrid unmentionables.
